Myths of PBLTestimonials“After attending PBL by the Buck Institute for Education, I am very excited to utilize project based learning this school year!” It encompasses so much of what we are already implementing: UDL, personalized learning, PBIS and 21st century skills to name of few. Students will be highly engaged in their own learning and apply learning to real world situations.” - Kristi Schneeberger, 2nd Grade Teacher, Meadowbrook Elementary
“As a science teacher, I strive to include best practices from the National Science Teachers Association. Since they are such strong proponents of PBL, I am excited to be able to start incorporating it into my classroom.” - Steve Giese, Bay Port High School “As a peer coach who tried her first PBL project with a second grade teacher, this is the most engaged I have ever seen students with sustained inquiry over the 4 week project.” - Lyzette Maroszek, Gifted and Talented Specialist, Meadowbrook Elementary |
